I look forward to your installment. I enjoy your blog and can relate to, despite not being Korean, living in Korea.

Cheers

how about cutting up and serving fruit all the time? All Korean moms can remove the peel off an apple into one big strip using a knife.

I agree 100% with the fruit. When guests fill the house, there is a k-mom in the kitchen, frantically cutting away.

Related to talking smack, Korean moms like their holy trinity of people categorization: dirty, crazy or bad. You can be rehab'd from "dirty," you can sort of be admired for "crazy," but God forbid if you're "bad" -- you are beyond hope.

Hello! I dont know how come I got here, maybe it happened when I was trying to search my Korean favourite actress. I read your blog and catch this entry. I wanna know if there's any way to meet an actress like an fanclub's appointment? My fav. is Yang Geumseok/ Yang Geum Suk. She usually plays as Mother/ Aunt in dramas. Lastly, she played as Hose's mother in You Are My Destiny, the drama had a very high rating, maybe you know! And now, she's playing in Hometown Over The Hill [on KBSWorld!]
I'm still very young if comparing with her age but I like her so much. I've just tried and used all of my nerves and brain to guess what her korean site want me to do if I wanna be a member there. This is her site http://cafe.daum.net/loveyangks all written in Korean! ~"~ If you get there, maybe you can see only my cmt is in English. It brings me to my worry, I wonder if there's anyone understand Eng.? Because.. you know, my fav. is over 40, her site is just in Korean, I'm worring that fans in the site are about her age. OMG!! I felt like a winner when I could be a member there, but now I feel just like a loser. I did all but nothing! I dont want, I cant stand, I cant accept it!!!! oadhhhhhhh
