#25 Non-tattered clothing

The enemy of every Korean Mom? Abercrombie and Fitch. They do not understand why anyone would purchase jeans with holes deliberately ripped in them. They do not understand why said jeans cost double the price of the jeans they bought at Nordstrom Rack and were made in Korea. It baffles them that their children will continuously wear any type of clothing with holes in them at all; worn in over time or bought. My mom once put knee patches from Joanne's Fabrics on a brand new pair of jeans I bought from A&F, covering the precious holes I had meticulously singled out from a stack of jeans. Not the cool patches in the shape of 70's flowers or ladybugs; I'm talking about knee patches that you buy in a farming catalogue. Needless to say, she made me wear them to school and I looked like the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz.

that happened to one of my old YG kids. her dad patched up her new jeans and made her return the other stuff that looked too goodwill.

when i was 9, my my aunt (mom's older sis) came to visit from korea. we went on an infamous korean bus tour out of california to visit the grand canyon and las vegas. during the trip, my aunt would complain about the long sleeves on my jacket. one night she just cut them off. i didn't know till i woke up.

My mom has a way with "altering" clothes... Yes, I've had the retarded patch sewn on my designer jeans and yes, she's chopped off my long sleeve to make a 3/4... She swears it's much better this way... She never sees an article of clothing that she can't make better...

Love always,
Heather

this reminds me, I bought a black dress shirt and jeans from Guess (since I was going clubbing for the first time and friend suggested I look nice).

she raged at me, and says who the fuck wears this. then she accuses me of being gay ???? she says only fags wear this tight dress shirt.

then she takes it when I am gone to school, and attempts to return it back to the store ! she accuses me of getting ripped off, and that stupid bitch wouldn't return it.

she drove all the way to the store which was quite far just to return it....
